Description

Join us for this special event as part of the FWA’s Spring 2019 workshop series focused on strategies for promotion and tenure success. This event will feature a special panel discussion of recent members of the University’s Promotion & Tenure Committee. Moderated by Dr. Deborah Clarke, Vice Provost for Academic Personnel, the panel discussion will highlight observations of committee members as to what makes for a strong case for tenure, particularly in the areas of external reviewers, construction of one’s vita, developing the personal narrative, and addressing audiences outside of one’s discipline. Additionally, the panelists will seek to answer important questions from the audience, in an informal Q&A session.

This is a great opportunity to gain expert insight into the promotion and tenure process!

This event is open to all ASU faculty. It is available in-person and via webcast.

Lunch and parking will be provided for individuals attending in-person at the Tempe Campus.
